Sunflower lecithin is a naturally occurring phospholipid that has many uses and applications. It can be used in food production, as well as pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and other products. One of its main uses is oil-based paints. Oil-based paints are made with linseed oil and sunflower lecithin to make the paint more durable.
Sunflower lecithin can be used to create emulsions of different liquids. When mixed with water-soluble substances, it helps them combine with oil-based substances. For example, this could be used in the manufacturing of chocolate to help keep cocoa butter and chocolate together. It can also be used in the cosmetic industry to mix perfumes with oils when creating lotions or perfumes for consumers.
Sunflower lecithin is also used in the food industry. It is commonly used by ice cream manufacturers because it helps keep ice crystals from forming when the product is being frozen. This prevents ice crystals from forming on the outside of the product while freezing and it keeps them smooth on the inside when you eat them. There are also many other uses for sunflower lecithin in food manufacturing such as chocolate making, candies, baked goods, and much more.
